False ApostleshipKathryn Krick

Kathryn Krick's Apostle Claim

Is this teaching biblical?

Kathryn Krick claims apostolic authority based solely on a personal prophecy from her 'mentor.' The early church tested those who claimed to be apostles and found many false (Revelation 2:2). True apostles were eyewitnesses of the risen Christ or were affirmed by the established apostolic church — not self-appointed through private prophecy. Her claim to 'reach the nations' with 'many miracles' echoes the grandiose claims that Paul warned against: false apostles disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

What did Kathryn Krick say?

"The Prophet prophesied to me that I was actually called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ, and I was called to reach the nations, and God was going to do many miracles through me."

What does Scripture actually teach?

2 Corinthians 11:13-15

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works."

NKJV

Paul explicitly warns of 'false apostles' who 'transform themselves' into apostles of Christ. They are 'deceitful workers.' Krick's self-transformation into an apostle based on a private prophecy fits this warning perfectly. The test is not the claim but the fruit and doctrine.

Revelation 2:2

"I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars."

NKJV

Jesus COMMENDS the church at Ephesus for testing apostolic claims and rejecting false ones. The church is called to test — not automatically accept — anyone who claims apostleship. Krick's claim should be tested, and her teaching that Christians are demon-possessed fails the biblical test.

Jeremiah 23:21

"I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied."

NKJV

God explicitly states that not everyone who claims to be sent is actually sent. 'I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran.' The mere claim of divine calling does not validate the calling. Krick's claim that 'The Prophet prophesied' does not prove God actually called her.

1 Corinthians 3:16

"Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?"

NKJV

Believers are the temple of God where the Holy Spirit dwells. Krick's primary ministry is claiming that these same Spirit-filled believers are full of demons needing her deliverance. But how can the temple of God simultaneously house demons? Her core teaching contradicts this foundational truth.
