Why is this a red flag?
Hernandez teaches that spiritual anointing can be transferred from one person to another through relationship and laying on of hands. He credits Benny Hinn with personally 'imparting' to him. This creates a spiritual lineage model (Kuhlman → Hinn → Hernandez) that functions like apostolic succession for the anointing. But the Holy Spirit distributes gifts 'as He wills' (1 Corinthians 12:11), not through a human supply chain. Simon Magus saw the apostles transferring the Spirit through laying on of hands and wanted to purchase this power — Peter's response was devastating: 'May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money' (Acts 8:20). The impartation model reduces the sovereign Spirit to a commodity that passes through human intermediaries.

The Spirit gives gifts 'as HE wills' — not as transferred through anointed human relationships. Spiritual gifts are sovereign divine appointments, not inherited through a lineage from Kathryn Kuhlman to Benny Hinn to David Diga Hernandez.
Acts 8:18-20
And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, saying, 'Give me this power also.' But Peter said to him, 'Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!'

Simon saw the Spirit given through human touch and wanted to obtain and distribute this power himself. Peter condemned this desire as fundamentally corrupt. The 'impartation' model — where one minister's anointing flows to another through relationship — functions on the same assumption Simon made: that God's gift can be transferred through human channels.
