Why is this a red flag?
Hernandez creates a two-tier system: salvation is free (correct — Ephesians 2:8-9), but the 'anointing' costs 'everything.' This creates an elite class of believers who have paid the price for power, distinct from ordinary Christians who merely have salvation. But Jesus commanded: 'Freely you have received, freely give' (Matthew 10:8). The Holy Spirit was poured out at Pentecost on ALL believers, not on an elite tier who paid extra. Peter declared the promise was 'for you and for your children, and for all who are far off' (Acts 2:39). When Hernandez says the anointing costs everything, within a ministry that sells courses on the anointing and charges for deeper teaching, the spiritual language takes on a troubling material dimension.
