TD Jakes is the bishop of The Potter's House, a megachurch in Dallas, Texas.
He is a prominent figure in the Word of Faith and prosperity gospel movements. He came out of a Oneness Pentecostal background and was long questioned over whether he held a Oneness (modalist) view of the Godhead; in a 2012 public discussion he affirmed belief in one God in three distinct persons.
