The New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) teaches that God is restoring the offices of apostle and prophet with authority equal to the original apostles. NAR 'apostles' claim to receive new revelation from God, exercise authority over geographical regions, and lead the church into dominion over society before Christ returns. This movement elevates human leaders to dangerous authority, adds to Scripture through 'prophetic words,' and often involves aberrant practices like grave-soaking, angel encounters, and dominion theology.
