Is this teaching biblical?
Michael Todd teaches that believers can 'activate' things from the 'unseen realm' through 'faith talk' — that 'your words frame your world.' This is classic Word of Faith doctrine dressed in new clothing. It makes human words into creative forces that manipulate spiritual reality, essentially making believers mini-gods who speak things into existence. But Scripture teaches that GOD is sovereign over all things, not human declarations. Our words matter morally (Matt 12:36-37), but they don't create reality. We are creatures who submit to God's will, not creators who impose our will on the universe.
What did Michael Todd say?
"Your words frame your world. We need to activate our faith talk to activate what's in the unseen realm."

What does Scripture actually teach?
James 4:13-15
"Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit'; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.'"
— NKJV
James rebukes those who declare what they WILL do as if they control the future. We should say 'IF THE LORD WILLS.' Todd teaches the opposite — that your 'faith talk' frames your world and activates the unseen realm. James says your life is a vapor subject to God's will; Todd says your words determine your reality. James teaches humility; Todd teaches presumption.
Proverbs 16:9
"A man's heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps."
— NKJV
We may plan, but the LORD directs. God is sovereign over our lives, not our 'faith talk.' Todd's teaching reverses this — suggesting our words direct reality and God follows. This inverts the Creator-creature distinction. We are not mini-gods who speak things into existence; we are servants who submit to God's direction.
Matthew 12:36-37
"But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
— NKJV
Jesus teaches that words have MORAL significance — we will give account for them. But this is about judgment, not creative power. Our words reveal our hearts and have moral weight, but they don't 'frame our world' or 'activate the unseen realm.' Todd confuses moral accountability with metaphysical power.
Isaiah 46:9-10
"Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure.'"
— NKJV
GOD declares the end from the beginning. GOD's counsel stands. GOD does all His pleasure. Only God speaks and it comes to pass (Gen 1). Todd's teaching that humans can 'activate the unseen realm' through words usurps God's unique prerogative as Creator and Sovereign. This is the sin of making ourselves like God (Gen 3:5).
Psalm 115:3
"But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases."
— NKJV
God does whatever HE pleases — not whatever our 'faith talk' declares. Todd's teaching suggests the 'unseen realm' responds to human words. But Scripture is clear: God is sovereign, in heaven, doing His will. We pray 'Thy will be done' — not 'My faith talk activates my will.' Todd's doctrine is human-centered, not God-centered.
