Is this teaching biblical?
Kenneth Copeland's claim that God is a physical being with specific height and weight is not Christianity — it is closer to Mormonism and ancient paganism. Jesus Himself declared 'God is Spirit' (John 4:24). To reduce the infinite, omnipresent Creator to a finite physical form is to deny His very nature and create an idol in one's own image.
What did Kenneth Copeland say?
"God is a being that stands somewhere around 6'2", 6'3", that weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of a couple of hundred pounds, little better, [and] has a hand span nine inches across."
Speaker: Kenneth Copeland

What does Scripture actually teach?
John 4:24
"God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
— NKJV
Jesus Christ Himself declares the nature of God: He is Spirit. A spirit does not have flesh, bones, height, or weight (Luke 24:39). Copeland's teaching directly contradicts the words of Christ.
Isaiah 40:18
"To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him?"
— NKJV
God challenges anyone to find a comparison for Him. To assign Him human measurements (6'2", 200 lbs) is the ultimate act of reducing the incomparable God to a created being's likeness.
Isaiah 40:25
"To whom then will you liken Me, Or to whom shall I be equal?" says the Holy One.
— NKJV
God is utterly unique and incomparable. Making Him a physical being with human proportions places Him in the category of creation rather than Creator. This is idolatry.
1 Kings 8:27
"But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!"
— NKJV
Solomon understood that God transcends physical space. If even the heavens cannot contain God, how absurd is it to claim He stands 6'2" and weighs 200 pounds?
